Refund Policy

At Car Engine Scanner, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase of the ANCEL AD410 Enhanced OBD II Vehicle Code Reader. If you are not entirely happy with your order, we're here to help.
1. 30-Day Return Window
You have 30 calendar days from the date you received your item to initiate a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. All original accessories, manuals, and components must be included.
2. How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team at support@carenginescanner.com. Please include your order number and the reason for your return in your email. Our team will review your request and, if eligible, provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions on how to send your item back.
Please do not send your item back without first receiving an RMA number, as this may delay or prevent your refund.
3. Refund Method and Processing Time
Once we receive your returned item and inspect it, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days. Please note that the time it takes for the refund to appear on your statement may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
4. Return Shipping Costs
The customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning their item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
5. Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. These include:
- Products that have been used, altered, or are not in their original condition.
- Items without their original packaging, manuals, or accessories.
- Clearance or final sale items.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective ANCEL AD410 scanner, please contact us immediately at support@carenginescanner.com within 7 days of delivery. Please provide your order number and clear photos or videos of the damage or defect. We will assess the issue and, if confirmed, offer you a free replacement or a full refund, including return shipping costs if applicable. We may provide a pre-paid return label for damaged/defective items.
7. Exchange Policy
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the return process outlined above to return the original item for a refund, and then place a new order for the desired item.
8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
